Liam Murphy was recently in the United Arab Emirates as part of a work trip. When he had some free time, he decided to make his way to Ferrari World to have a fun-filled day to himself. But when he took a taxi and finally arrived at the indoor theme park, he learned that Shakiha, his driver for the day, was simply going to wait outside of the park in his hot car until Murphy was done.
Not one to leave a person hanging, Liam decided to take the driver along for the (quite literal) ride.
Liam, an engineer, was in the UAE on business.
When he learned that Shakiha had never been on a rollercoaster before, he asked him to join in on the fun.

Unfortunately for him, Ferrari World is home to some of the fastest rides in the world.
Murphy was even more inclined to take his new pal into the park when he learned that he couldn’t have afforded it otherwise.
Shakiha, originally from India, has been driving cabs and sending the proceeds to his family back home for over 14 years.

Though he still had much to do on his business trip, he’ll never forget the experience of treating Shakiha to a day in the park.

We need more people like Liam Murphy in this world. What he did for Shakiha was not only selfless, but it also broke up the monotony of the man’s tough, rigid life. Let’s hope Shakiha catches a few more breaks like this! He deserves it.
