She Was Abandoned On A Park Bench, Blind And Alone. But Then, A Savior Came Along.

It’s incredible the amount of cruelty some humans can dish out to animals. It never ceases to amaze me the insanely torturous things we do to creatures who depend on us and trust that we’ll provide everything for food, comfort, and safety.

That’s why this story is especially disgusting. Someone abandoned a poor, sick, and blind dog on a park bench in California. It was a disgraceful act, but luckily, some heroes came to save the day.

This is Poly. She was abandoned on a park bench in California. She is blind, suffers from a heart and skin condition, and is totally dependent on humans to survive.

Which is why it was insanely cruel for a person to leave her for dead in an unfamiliar place.

Luckily, the people at the Santa Barbara County Animal Services found her and were able to rescue her.

For now, Poly is spending time in a foster home, getting treated for her illnesses and waiting to be adopted by someone who wants to be her forever family.

Understandably so, her medical bills are piling up, so an account was set up to help pay for her expenses.

Hopefully she can find her forever home soon. Thank goodness for the kind people of the Santa Barbara County Animal Services for finding Poly before something terrible happened.

They Heard Strange Noises Coming From A Dumpster And Found Something Tragic

The sad reality is that animals are abused almost every single day. It’s really painful to think about. We as humans have a responsibility to make sure that these vulnerable animals are taken care of, but some heartless people just don’t seem to understand that abusing them is completely unacceptable.

That’s why it’s so depressing that this mother dog and her puppies were recently thrown in the garbage and left for dead.

People heard strange noises coming from a nearby trash site, so they contacted the police.

There, they found a mother dog panicking outside the trash…one of her babies had fallen in, but the others were found in a nearby shed.

The police intervened, rescued the pups, and took them to a local shelter.

By the next day, this puppy family was safe and sound.

Mom was finally able to nurse her babies!

While the little ones are still too young for adoption right now, they are being cared for by the kind people of Hillsborough County Animal Services.

Once they’re ready, these people will do everything they can to ensure that the little ones find forever homes.

We can only hope that those pups and their mom go to caring homes. How could anyone resist that level of cuteness? The kindness of those police officers kept the story of this little family from having a heartbreaking ending.

When She Adopted This Cancer-Ridden Dog, She Had An Amazing Plan For Him

Typically, when people adopt dogs, they make sure to get a healthy, friendly, young puppy. The hope is that they get as much time with their dogs as possible, watching them grow from puppies into mature, old dogs.

Nicole Elliott is a little bit different, though. Not only did she buck this trend of adopting a young pup, she took in a terminally ill dog to give him the best life possible in his final days.

He was diagnosed with terminal cancer while at the Animal Ark Rescue.

When it seemed like Chester had lost all hope for happiness…

This woman, Nicole Elliott, swooped in and adopted him.

She wanted to make sure Chester had a great last few days of life before the cancer took him.

She has been spoiling him mercilessly with treats, baths, and a loving home.

Nicole said that she wanted to give Chester normal dog experiences that he may have never had before.

And so far, Chester is loving every second of it.

Chester looks to be in a great and loving home for his last days on earth, and I don’t think he’d have it any other way. More people should follow in Elliott’s footsteps and rescue dying dogs to make their lives excellent for the short amount of time they have left.

And you never know…with soothing spa days to keep him going, Chester might have much more time with Elliott!

They Rescued Not Only This Homeless Dog, But Her Entire Family!

Java, a female boxer, was having a bad day. Fortunately, a team of strangers took it upon themselves to rescue her and her entire family.

When she was rescued, Java had ear and eye infections. She was also very, very pregnant.

Java was found alone on a property by a woman named Kristen, who contacted a local rescue organization. It turns out that Java’s humans moved and simply left her behind. When she was examined, the team discovered that she was ready to give birth any day. But with no safe place to birth her babies, Java was holding on.

She couldn’t stay in the local shelter. There was no room.

Luckily, Florida Boxer Rescue stepped in, and within hours, Java gave birth to nine puppies!

Watch Java’s story below.
