16 Amazing Things People Have Found Buried In Their Backyards

As a kid, the backyard was the place where your wildest fantasies took place. You could play out there with your siblings, play with your toys, or just have an imagination-fest and roll around with nothing but your thoughts. I always used to play pirates with my sister in our backyard, and we would make people walk the plank, set sail on the high seas, and dig for treasure — but we would never have expected to actually find anything.

These people did what my sister and I never could. They found actual artifacts, treasures, and objects besides their own toys. Get ready for some of the craziest things that people found buried in their own backyards.

They Made An Awesome Fire Pit For Under $150 -- Amazing

Just because the summer is winding down, doesn’t mean you have to run for cover indoors. There’s still plenty of time to relax in the backyard with some BBQ and cold brews. In fact, even when the nights turn chilly, the perfect way to squeeze a little bit more out of the season is to strike up a fire in your backyard fire pit and toast some s’mores.

What’s that…? You don’t have a fire pit? No problem…these guys made theirs for under $150 and with minimal materials.

For starters, they used crestone beveled retaining wall blocks…

They went around the central fire ring.

The two brothers added a second row of stones.

They put a third layer on with some caulk…

And set the fire ring on top of the lip.

Stone pebbles were strewn inside and around the pit.

They just need some fancier chairs to match this awesome fire pit.

But they’ll do for now!
