Byholma – Worlds Largest Timber Storage

The disused airfield of Byholma in Sweden became a local landmark after it was turned into the giant timber storage. Enormous piles of tree trunks 13 m (42.6 ft) high and 2 km (1.24 mi) long were built up here after the dreadful hurricane Gudrun, which brought down the big part of Sweden forests in 2005.
