The 70’s show is a television sitcom about the lives of a group of teenagers living in the fictional town of Point Place, Wisconsin. And in this fictional town, Christmas apparently occurs 5 times in 3 years. 5 of the show’s 200 episodes are Christmas episodes or allude to a new Christmas in some way even though the show only takes place between the year 1976 and 1979.
This isn’t the only discrepancy in the show. The dialogue suggests that the character Hyde is older than the character Eric. However, Hyde had an 18th birthday in 1978 while Eric turned 17 in the second episode (which took place in 1976). They tried to fix this by having Eric turn 18 in an episode that took place in 1978-two years after he turned 17. Obviously, this show has no regard for the space-time continuum.
