If You Think All Meteorologists Look The Same...You Actually Might Not Be Wrong

One could argue that the most important segment of the morning news is the weather report. This report dictates what we wear, whether we ditch our bikes for the subway, and whether or not we lug around our umbrellas all day. Luckily for us, there are dedicated meteorologists out there who make it their mission to help us out in that regard.

But have you ever noticed that these lovely ladies tend to look similar? These meteorologists decided to take that idea and run with it.

One woman posted a link for a dress on Amazon on a private Facebook group for meteorologists nationwide, and they all decided to buy it.

“More than 50 of us purchased the dress, so if you travel and watch the news, you might see something familiar,” Fox 4 meteorologist Jennifer Myers writes.

“This dress had all of those qualities we look for, but the price was the major selling point,” Lyndsay Tapases said. “Many of us don’t have a clothing allowance and are responsible for buying all of our own clothes.”

There aren’t many dresses like the Homeyee Women’s stretch tunic pencil sheath dress. This particular dress is comfortable, stylish, and really affordable.

And those awesomely bold colors don’t hurt!

This has me laughing out loud tonight! There’s a private Facebook group page of female broadcast meteorologists and we…

Next time you turn on the TV and wonder if the meteorologist is wearing the same dress two days in a row, make sure it’s the same woman. After seeing this, there’s no guarantee!

22 Adorable Animals Have The Silliest Reactions To Hearing A Scary Thunderstorm

Nature can create some pretty scary stuff. You really don’t want to pick a fight with Mother Earth when she’s in a bad mood. That’s something these silly animals learn every time a thunderstorm rolls around. They might not know what made the sky so mad, but they do know they don’t want to make it any worse.

Even the biggest of pets can turn into babies when the stormy weather starts. Thank goodness they have brave humans to help keep them safe from harm.

1. “Oh hey, uh, did you hear that?”

2. “You can’t run the dishes. It’s a matter of life and death.”

3. “You’re shower’s gonna have to wait until the Earth shower is over.”

4. “I can’t even look. Tell me when it’s all over, Hedgie.”

5. “Ack, if you found me maybe the thunder will too!”

6. “Yep, I’m totally shielded from any harm.”

7. “Well, guess I live here now.”

8. Maybe he thinks it’s a weather escape pod.

9. “Sorry, this is my hiding spot. Find your own.”

10. “Oh, don’t mind me…nasty weather we’re having, huh?”

11. Orange peels protect you from all harm. Everyone knows that!

12. Thunder buddies for life.

13. “You won’t let it get me, right?”

14. “I think we could use a few more cushions.”

15. “But why is the sky so angry?”

16. She won’t let go until the sun shines again.

17. “Nope. Nope. Nope.”

18. “Uh, just making sure this is organized.”

19. “I’m just doing this to protect you…that’s it….”

20. “I’m not scared! I’m practical!”

21. “Thank goodness for this sock or I’d definitely be a goner.”

22. “Is it safe to come out yet?”

Just imagine being in their paws and not knowing what all that loud noise was about. It’s okay, buddies, we’ll always have your back!

Woman Finds Yet Another Pair Of Dogs Stuck In A Car In Sweltering Heat

While on a jog on a hot day in New Jersey, People magazine reporter Diane Herbst was alerted by a pair of pups in a desperate situation.

Already knowing the weather outside was too severe to bring her own pooch on the trail with her, she was appalled to find these two cuties sitting in a locked car alone with the windows slightly cracked. She jumped into action, calling 911 multiple times and even considered breaking the windows herself to rescue the long-haired dogs.

After 16 stressful minutes waiting on the phone with the police, the fire department arrived to finally set the pups free.

Herbst shed tears of relief and placed a call to the number officials found on a card in the vehicle. She spoke to the negligent owner’s husband who explained the woman and her son were in the park searching for wild mushrooms and that he would inform them of the situation.

About 35 minutes after originally calling the authorities about the situation, the woman in question arrived with her son. The only problem? She was in no way apologetic, but instead upset and demanded to know why they had opened her door.

When officers asked her how she would feel locked in that situation, she simply huffed away and attempted to force water from her bottle into one of the dog’s faces, something Herbst captured on video.

Kevin Lynch, a spokesman for the Essex County Sheriff’s Office, told Herbst they were considering pressing charges and would be investigating the further welfare of the animals. You can read Herbst’s full report over on People Pets.

Even on days when the weather is perfectly mild, temperatures inside a big metal tube (aka a car) car can rise over 100 degrees in less than an hour. Cracking a window isn’t enough — you should simply never, ever keep your pups locked up like this. Ever.

If you need some cheering up, these animal stories should do the trick!
