We all know Sir Isaac Newton as a key figure the scientific revolution.He was an English physicist and mathematician who is widely regarded as one of the most influential scientists of all time.
However, his intelligence also helped him through his daily life. During his era there was a guy named William Chaloner who was a serial offender counterfeit coiner and confidence trickster, who was imprisoned several times and proven guilty of high treason by Sir Isaac Newton!
Newton was devoted to a complete investigation of Chaloner, in which he included a comprehensive network of spies and informants, eventually leading Chaloner to trial and to his death.
Chaloner was hanged on the gallows at Tyburn on March 16th, 1699.We definitely need smart people like Sir Isaac Newton in several investigation departments. Just imagine how many bad people would be captured and put into trial!
