While spending time outside one day, a girl decided to pick a rose for her mother. When she clipped it from the rosebush, it looked totally normal — but when her mom took a closer look, she made a precious discovery.
Judging by these photos, they weren’t the only ones looking for a little rest and relaxation that day.
Inside the rose, they came across a little lizard that was sleeping the day away.
They couldn’t bring themselves to disturb it.
That was probably a good call, since it quickly went back to its afternoon nap when they stopped making a fuss.
Have you ever seen a more perfect napping spot? Who wouldn’t want to sleep on a bed of roses — or better yet, right in the middle of one? It’s nice that this mother-daughter duo decided to let the lizard continue resting. Sure, they may have wanted that rose, but their new friend snagged it first.
