Helping an animal in need is easy when it’s cute and fluffy. (I assume that’s why old timey firefighters had such a thing for saving cats in trees.) Rescuing a unique animal, though, could be a different story for most people.
Thankfully, when this Imgur user discovered a crow stuck in his fence, he didn’t hesitate to help the guy out.
He named the stuck bird Russell Crow (because, of course).
Alive and finally free! (But, admittedly, a little shook up.)
It looks like this crow’s in trouble, but he just needed a little rest outside.

A little while after the rescue, crows kept visiting his yard (presumably alongside Russell).

The bird could have remembered the yard of the kind man who saved his life (and he knew it was safe there), so he brought his friends along. It’s entirely possible, too. Crows are far more intelligent than most people credit for. In fact, they may be smart enough to understand analogies.
It’s impressive. It’s scary. It’s scary impressive.
