Having hobbies is typically a good thing. Hobbies help you unwind from a hard day and let you focus your mental energy on something other than work. Some hobbies, like sports, video games, or stamp collecting, are pretty standard. But then there are some others that are a little gag-worthy…

If you couldn’t guess it from her username, peelingfan peels the dead skin off of her feet keeps it in a far.
She even has names for the different types of foot skin she peels off. Clockwise from the top we have bits, big pieces, single-layers, crescents, and ropes.
Now do you see why I called it gag-worthy? But wait, there’s more…
Every couple of years, peelingfan sends the jars of accumulated skin to the Mütter Museum in Philadelphia.
If you thought it couldn’t get more disgusting than that, you thought wrong.
She also saves her PedEgg foot shavings. Apparently they smell kind of weird.

Are you throwing up yet? I hope not. Yes, what she’s doing here is pretty gross, but it’s not hurting anyone. In fact, judging from the tone of that letter from the museum, they’re very grateful for her hobby. I suppose that in her case we just have to remember this: “To each their own.”
