As we’ve told you many, many times, the sea is a mysterious world in its own right, full of many horrors we have the luxury of not yet understanding. But new evidence shows that things just got a whole lot weirder.
Redditor tishmaster‘s uncle found this horrifying skull from what appears to be some sort of water demon on a private beach along the Delaware Bay. As other Redditors speculate what the skull could possibly be from, the rest of us should make a mental note to stick to swimming pools and skip the natural waters.
Some people think it might be the fossil of an extinct species called the Black Drum Fish.
Others think the teeth resemble those of the sheepshead fish, which also creepily resemble human teeth.
Either way, not the best thing to find when you’re trying to have a relaxing day on a Delaware beach. How come most things in the ocean look like aliens or mutants? Well, I guess there are some cute sea critters out there. This just isn’t one of them.
