The name Jesus comes from incorrect translations!

The name “Jesus” is the result of several incorrect translations of “Yeshua”!

The name Yeshua appears in the Hebrew Bible. The bible itself talks about ten men who carried that name before Jesus. In Hebrew, Yeshua means “salvation”, which in the Catholic/Christian bible explains that word as Jesus main objective; to save us all from sins.

After trying to be translated by many countries such as Greece, a lot of letters from the name Yeshua were changed because of it's pronunciation, some weren’t even in their alphabet!

Since the Greeks don’t have the “sh” pronunciation they had to substitute those two words with an “S”, as for the “A”, it expresses a feminine in Greek, therefore they changed it for another “S”.

And by the time it reached our language, the letter “Y” was changed for a “J”, and hence the name Jesus was created. So if you are a grammar Nazi you might start correcting people who say “Jesus” instead of “Yeshua”.
