Some Amazing Wonder of Natural World

Our world has many amazing places, some places are known for natural resources, some for their historical buildings and some for technology advancement. Earth is filled with natural and historical  wonder of world

Turkmenistan

This place is in Uzbekistan called “DOOR TO HELL” by the local community it is 70 meter wide crater in Turkmenistan Uzbekistan is one of the six independent Turkic state it is a doubly landlocked country in central Asia.”DOOR TO HELL” is situated near the small town of DARVAZ. there is a story behind this incidence  which is lasts already for 37 years. in 1973 the geologists were drilling the land for the seek of natural gas suddenly they found an underground cavern during the drilling. it was huge enough that all the drilling sites with all the equipments, tools and camps got deep under the ground. no one dared to go to that valley because cavern was filled with gas. so they ignited it so that no poisonous gas come out from that hole. it is burning already for 37 years without any pause Venezuela, Brazil and Guyana.

Mount Roraima

Mount Roraima is a pretty remarkable place. It is a tabletop mountain with sheer 400-meter high cliffs on all sides. Monte Roraima is the highest of the Pakaraima chain of tepui plateau in South America. First described by the English explorer Sir Walter Raleigh in 1596, its 31 km² summit area is defended by 400 meter  tall cliffs on all sides. The mountain includes the triple border point of Venezuela, Brazil and Guyana.Mount Roraima lies on the Guiana Shield in the south-eastern corner of Venezuela’s 30,000 km² Canaima National Park forming the highest peak of Guyana’s Highland Range. The tabletop mountains of the park are considered some of the oldest geological formations on Earth, dating back to some two billion years ago in the Precambrian Era.Since long before the arrival of European explorers, the mountain has held a special significance for the indigenous people of the region, and it is central to many of their myths and legends.

Meteor Crater USA

Meteor Crater is a meteorite impact crater located approximately 43 miles east of Flagstaff, near Winslow in the northern Arizona desert of the United States. Because the US Department of the Interior Division of Names commonly recognizes names of natural features derived from the nearest post office, the feature acquired the name of "Meteor Crater" from the nearby post office named Meteor. The crater came to the attention of scientists following its discovery by European settlers in the 19th century. Dubbed the Canyon Diablo crater – from Canyon Diablo, Arizona, the closest community to the crater in the late 1800s, 12 miles  northwest of crater. The crater was created about 50,000 years ago during the Pleistocene epoch when the local climate on the Colorado Plateau was much cooler and damper.

The Great Dune of Pyla

France

Since Europe has no deserts, you’d think the title of “Europe’s largest sand dune” would go to something that wasn’t particularly impressive. But you’d be wrong. The Great Dune of Pyla is 3km long, 500m wide and 100m high, and for reasons I will probably never understand, it seems to have formed in a forest. The Great Dune of Pilat is the largest sand dune in Europe. It is located in La Taste-de-Buch in the Arcachon Bay area, France, 60 km from Bordeaux.Pilat is sometimes spelled Pyla, hence the alternative name dune of Pyla. The correct and original name of the dune is the Dune of Pilat, but because of the confusion that occurred, both are now considered correct.

Republic of Yemen

Yemen, officially the Republic of Yemen is a country located on the Arabian Peninsula in Southwest Asia Yemen is the only state in the Arabian Peninsula to have a purely republican form of government.Yemen is one of the poorest countries in the Arab World, with 40% unemployment as of 2007, dwindling natural resources, and rapid population growth. Yemen has a weak economy compared to other Arab states, mainly due to Yemen having relatively little oil, having discovered it during the 1980s.Yemen’s economy depends heavily on the oil it does produce, and its government receives the vast majority of its revenue from oil taxes. It is very isolated with a harsh, dry climate and as a result a third of its plant-life is found nowhere else, including the famous Dragon’s Blood Tree, a very-unnatural looking umbrella-shaped tree which produces red sap. in Yemen there is a large variety of birds, spider, and other animals.

Greenland

This is more of a curiosity and not visually impressive, but 83-42 is believed to be the northernmost permanent point of land on earth. It is tiny, only 35m by 15m and 4m high, but is about 400 miles from the north pole. Greenland is an autonomous country within the kingdom of Denmark. it is situated between the arctic and Atlantic oceans. the largest island in Greenland is also named as Greenland and comprises most of the country’s land area. in the olden time Greenland was home to several successive paleo_Eskimo cultures known basically through archaeological findings.

Guairá Falls
Brazil-Paraguay border

Located on the Parana river the Guairá Falls were, in terms of total volume, the largest waterfall on earth. The Guairá Falls was a waterfall located on the Paraná River between Brazil and Paraguay. With an estimated volume of 1,750,000 cubic feet per second, the falls were, at least in terms of total volume, the largest waterfall on earth. The falls were flooded in 1982 by the reservoir impounded behind the Itaipu Dam.The falls were formed at a point where the Parana River was forced through a narrow canyon downstream from the Maracaju Mountains in Brazil. At the head of the falls, the river was constricted from a width of about 1,250 feet  to 200 feet. The falls were actually a series of 18 individual cataracts, with the seven primary falls lending its name in Portuguese.
